PM Kisan Portal has received four new updates that can help farmers correct missing details, change their mobile numbers, return payments received despite being ineligible and find contact details of officials for assistance.
The date for the 24th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi has not yet been confirmed. It could be released before November 30, but farmers should wait for the official announcement for the exact date.
Under PM-KISAN, eligible farmer families receive ₹6,000 every year in three instalments of ₹2,000 each.
According to the information provided, more than ₹4.47 lakh crore has been transferred through 23 instalments using Direct Benefit Transfer.
PM Kisan Portal Has 4 New Updates
The first update is the “Update Missing Information” option. Farmers who have incomplete details on the PM Kisan portal can use this section to provide the missing information.
After selecting the option, farmers need to enter their Aadhaar number or registration number along with the captcha and select Search.
The portal will then show the information that needs to be completed, after which the details can be submitted.
Update Mobile Number on PM Kisan Portal
Farmers who have changed their mobile number or recently added a new number to Aadhaar can use the mobile number update option on the portal.
The process requires the farmer to enter the registration number or Aadhaar number and captcha before selecting Search. The Aadhaar-linked mobile number can then be entered to complete the update process.
Keeping the registered mobile number updated can help farmers receive important information related to their PM-KISAN account.
Ineligible Farmers Can Return Money Online
The portal also provides an “Online Refund” option for people who are not eligible for PM-KISAN but have received instalments.
Farmers or other beneficiaries can enter their registration number or Aadhaar number and captcha, then select the option to receive an OTP. They can follow the instructions shown on the portal to complete the refund process for payments received incorrectly.
Find PM Kisan Officials for Help
Farmers who need assistance can also use the “Search your Point of Contact (POC)” option available on the PM Kisan portal.
The section provides access to State Nodal Contact Details. Farmers looking for state-level assistance can select “Search State Nodal”, while those needing district-level help can use “Search District Nodal”.
After selecting the state and district, the portal can display the available nodal officer contact details, including the phone number and email address. Farmers can use these details when they need help with PM-KISAN-related issues.
PM Kisan Portal has therefore added several options that can help beneficiaries manage important account details and find assistance without having to depend entirely on other channels.
