After launching its new electric SUVs, the VF6 and VF7, in September 2025, Vietnamese automaker Vinfast has officially started customer deliveries in India.
The company has begun the first phase of distribution in cities like Kochi, Jaipur, and others.
Excited buyers have already started sharing photos and videos of their delivery experiences on social media, marking Vinfast’s official entry into India’s growing EV market.
Battery, Range, and Power Details
The Vinfast VF6 comes with a 59.6 kWh battery pack paired with a front-wheel-drive system.
The VF6 Earth variant delivers 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque.
The VF6 Wind variant offers 174.3 hp and 250 Nm of torque.
According to ARAI, the Earth variant offers a driving range of 468 km, while the Wind variant provides up to 463 km on a single charge.
Meanwhile, the larger VF7 gets two battery options — 59.6 kWh and 70.8 kWh.
The VF7 Earth (70.8 kWh) produces 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque.
The top-end VF7 Sky and Sky Infinity variants, with all-wheel drive, deliver up to 500 Nm of torque.
Premium Features and Safety
The VF6 comes loaded with features such as all-LED projector headlamps, an acoustic windshield, a glass roof, keyless entry, and connected car technology.
It also includes safety systems like ABS, EBD, traction control, 7 airbags, and a 360-degree camera.
The VF7 adds even more luxury with heated ORVMs, auto-dimming mirrors, a color head-up display (HUD), signature LED lighting, and a 90W USB Type-C fast charger.
Price and Availability
Vinfast is offering the VF6 at a starting price of Rs 16.49 lakh, while the VF7 begins at Rs 20.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
With these models, Vinfast aims to take on the competition in India’s fast-growing electric SUV market by offering strong performance, long range, and premium features at a competitive price.
