The good news is it’s very easy to verify your Aadhaar at home. Aadhaar is a 12-digit number, and with this number, you can quickly find out if it’s valid or fake. Let’s understand how.

Why Verify Aadhaar?

You might have noticed that landlords or employers often ask for Aadhaar as ID proof before renting out property or hiring someone.

But sometimes, Aadhaar verification is delayed or skipped. You can now verify Aadhaar right from your home quickly. However, this doesn’t replace the need for police verification when necessary.

By verifying Aadhaar, you can safely hire tenants or employees, ensuring their documents are genuine. This service is available on the official UIDAI website.
