All IndiGo Flights to Operate from Terminal 1 only

If you’re planning to fly with IndiGo from Delhi Airport soon, this update is crucial for you.

IndiGo, India’s biggest airline, has announced that from April 15, 2025, it will stop operating any flights from Terminal 2 of Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.

Instead, all these flights will now take off and land at Terminal 1.

The airline shared this information in an official statement on Sunday, confirming that the change will start from April 15, 2025.

After that date, IndiGo flights will only use Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 at Delhi Airport. No IndiGo flights will arrive at or depart from Terminal 2.

There is no change in how IndiGo flights operate from Terminal 3.

The airline has said it is taking steps in advance to make sure passengers don’t face any trouble due to this change.

IndiGo is sending updates to travelers through SMS, phone calls, and emails. Travel agents are also being notified.

IndiGo has advised all passengers to double-check their terminal details on their flight tickets before they travel.

Many passengers have faced issues in the past due to confusion about terminals at Delhi Airport.

IndiGo Becomes the World’s Most Valuable Airline

In other news, IndiGo made history last week by becoming the world’s most valuable airline in terms of market value.

It has overtaken big international airlines like Delta Airlines and Ryanair.

So far this year, IndiGo’s stock has gone up by 13%, and the company’s total market value has crossed ₹2 lakh crore (around $23.3 billion).

Currently, one share of IndiGo is priced at ₹5,161 on the National Stock Exchange.
