Hyundai Motor India, a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Group, is gearing up to expand its SUV portfolio in India.
With a strong lineup already comprising the Exter, Venue, Creta, Alcazar, and Tucson, Hyundai aims to further solidify its presence in the SUV segment. Here’s what’s in store for SUV enthusiasts:
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift
The Alcazar, already a popular choice in the market, is due for a refresh. While not undergoing a drastic overhaul, the Alcazar Facelift will feature subtle cosmetic enhancements and updated features.
Expect minimal changes to its existing engine lineup, including the 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol, and 116bhp, 1.5L diesel engines.
Spy images hint at redesigned LED headlamps, updated bumpers, and fresh alloy wheel designs.
2024 Hyundai Tucson Facelift
In the testing phase is the 2024 Hyundai Tucson facelift, promising significant design revisions. Anticipate a revamped front grille, headlamps, and alloy wheels.
While the cabin might receive minor updates, the engine options could include the new 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol engine, alongside the possibility of retaining the existing 2.0L diesel motor.
New-Gen Hyundai Venue and Creta EV
The Hyundai Venue is in for a substantial update, details of which are still under wraps. However, reports suggest a comprehensive makeover encompassing design and features.
Meanwhile, an electric version of the Creta is on the horizon. Expected to draw inspiration from its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart, the Creta EV might inherit the powertrain from the global Kona EV, potentially offering a range of 400-500km on a single charge.
With these exciting additions and updates, Hyundai is poised to captivate SUV enthusiasts and embrace the future of electric mobility in India.
