August is set to be a thrilling month for the automobile industry, with several major car manufacturers planning to launch new models.
Among the big names, Tata Motors will introduce the CNG variant of its Punch SUV,
while Hyundai gears up to launch a special ‘Adventure Edition’ of the popular Creta and updated Alcazar.
Additionally, Audi will release the Q8 e-tron with new features, Mercedes-Benz will unveil the new generation GLC with mild hybrid technology,
and Volvo will introduce the C40 Recharge electric vehicle with impressive performance and range.
Tata Punch CNG with Sunroof
Tata is all set to launch the CNG variant of its Punch SUV in August, with deliveries starting from September.
The Punch CNG will be powered by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing around 73.5 PS of power in CNG mode.
Equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, it will adopt twin cylinder technology similar to Altroz and offer a sunroof feature as well.
Adventure Edition for Creta and Updated Alcazar
Hyundai is gearing up for two special edition launches in August.
The popular Creta will receive a mid-life update with the ‘Adventure Edition’, featuring minor cosmetic changes both inside and outside, possibly accompanied by updated horsepower and a 48V starter motor.
The three-row Alcazar will also see an updated Special Edition.
Audi Q8 e-tron with New Features
The Audi Q8 e-tron is hitting the market soon, with its prices set to be announced on August 18.
Available in two body types, the Q8 e-tron features revised exteriors and introduces numerous new interior features.
Buyers can choose from 95 kWh and 114 kWh battery packs, offering a remarkable range of up to 600 km.
New Generation Mercedes-Benz GLC
Mercedes-Benz is all set to unveil the new generation GLC in August, offering both petrol and diesel variants.
Equipped with a 48V mild hybrid system, the GLC promises improved performance. Customers can expect revised interior and exterior designs as well.
Volvo C40 Recharge
August will witness Volvo launching the C40 Recharge electric vehicle in India.
Sharing many similarities with the XC40 Recharge, the C40 Recharge is based on the CMA platform and powered by a twin electric motor setup capable of generating 408 HP and 660 Nm of torque.
With a 78 kWh battery pack, it offers a range of over 500 kilometers on a single charge.
