It is important to know that biometric updates are mandatory when a child turns 5 and again at 15.

This update includes taking new fingerprints, an eye scan, and a recent photograph of the child.

Separate machines for registration and biometric updates have been set up at Aadhaar Seva Kendras to make the process smoother.

This arrangement will make it much easier for people to get the updates done.

Apart from the main Aadhaar Seva Kendra in Ghaziabad district, banks and post offices also handle biometric updates for Aadhaar cards.

More than 50 children get their biometrics updated daily at the Aadhaar Seva Kendra.
