In a recent move to streamline travel regulations, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expanded its Visa Exemption Policy to include citizens of 87 countries for visa on arrival services.
However, India is notably absent from this list, as reported by Gulf News. The initiative aims to facilitate tourism and bolster accessibility to the Middle Eastern nation.
Visa Regulations Overview
The updated policy mandates citizens of 110 countries to obtain a visa prior to their arrival in the UAE.
Notably, citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states are exempt from this requirement, allowing them entry upon arrival using a passport or identity card issued by a GCC state.
Moreover, individuals already exempted from visa requirements can obtain a visa valid for 30 days upon arrival, with a grace period of 10 days.
Additionally, citizens of selected countries are eligible for a visa on arrival for a duration of 90 days.
