Triumph has recently updated its popular motorcycle, the Speed 400, adding several new features and color options.
The updated model is now priced at Rs 2.40 lakh, which is Rs 6,000 more than the previous version.
Additionally, Triumph has introduced a new entry-level motorcycle, the Speed T4, priced at Rs 2.17 lakh.
New Features and Specifications
The updated Speed 400 now features new Vredestein tyres, which have thicker sidewalls compared to the old tyres.
The new sizes are 110/80-R17 and 150/70-R17, replacing the previous sizes of 110/70-R17 and 150/60-R17.
These changes have led to an increase in the bike’s seat height and ground clearance, as well as a slightly longer stance.
The Speed 400 will also come with a new seat that includes 10mm more foam padding.
Despite the extra padding, Triumph has re-profiled the seat to maintain the same ground reach. In addition, adjustable hand levers are now a standard feature on the Speed 400.
New Color Options and Availability
The updated Speed 400 will be available in four new color options, some of which feature a black-out finish on the exhaust system, a new addition not available before.
Booking for the updated model has already begun, and deliveries will start soon.
