India’s leading airline IndiGo has announced daily direct flights between Mumbai and Adampur (Jalandhar), Punjab, starting from 2 July 2025.
With this new route, Adampur becomes IndiGo’s 92nd domestic and 133rd overall destination, further strengthening the airline’s regional connectivity network.
IndiGo’s Statement on the New Route
Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, said, “As part of our effort to boost regional connectivity, we are happy to introduce daily direct flights between Mumbai and Adampur.
This route will offer fast, accessible, and hassle-free travel, connecting two culturally and economically important regions.”
Why This Flight Route Matters
Adampur, located in Punjab’s Jalandhar district, is known for its Air Force Station and popular tourist attractions like Rangla Punjab Haveli, Devi Talab Temple, Pushpa Gujral Science City, and Wonderland Theme Park.
Mumbai, on the other hand, is the financial capital of India and the heart of Bollywood, making it a key destination for business and entertainment.
The new flight service will make travel between North and West India more convenient.

Flight 6E 5931 – Mumbai to Adampur: Departure at 12:55 PM, Arrival at 3:15 PM
Flight 6E 5932 – Adampur to Mumbai: Departure at 3:50 PM, Arrival at 6:30 PM
