Toyota Increases Car Prices by Up to ₹2.16 Lakh in India

If you are planning to buy a car from Toyota Kirloskar Motor soon, this update is important for you. The company has increased prices across most of its models in India due to rising input costs and changing market conditions.

The price hike ranges from ₹5,000 to as high as ₹2.16 lakh, affecting popular models across different segments.

Fortuner, Innova and Land Cruiser Prices Increased

The popular Toyota Fortuner has become costlier by up to ₹69,000 across all variants, which is around a 1.75% increase.

The Toyota Innova Crysta has also seen a price hike of ₹39,000. Meanwhile, the strong hybrid version of the Toyota Innova Hycross is now costlier by ₹54,000, while its petrol variant has gone up by ₹39,000.

In the premium segment, the biggest increase has been seen in the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 (ZX variant), which is now costlier by ₹2.16 lakh.

Hyrider, Glanza and Other Models Also Affected

Some variants of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder have become slightly expensive, with a price hike of ₹5,000.

The Toyota Glanza (V AMT variant) has seen an increase of ₹20,000. At the same time, turbo variants of the recently launched Toyota Taisor are now costlier by about ₹22,000 (around 2% increase).

Additionally, the lifestyle pickup truck Toyota Hilux has also become more expensive by ₹56,000.

Strong Sales and Export Growth for Toyota

Despite the price hike, Toyota’s sales performance remains strong. In March 2026, the company sold 37,194 units, showing a growth of 23.80% compared to last year.

For the financial year 2025-26, Toyota recorded total sales of 4,06,081 units, marking a 20.45% increase year-on-year. Along with this, exports also saw a significant jump of over 41%.
