2025 was a very busy year for Apple. The company launched many new products, including the new MacBook Pro, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and several new iPhones.
The iPhone 17 series brought major upgrades, especially for the Pro models, along with noticeable design changes. Apple also introduced its thinnest iPhone ever, the iPhone Air.
If you think Apple will slow down after such a big year, that is not the case. According to an India Today report, 2026 could be even busier, with Apple planning major upgrades and several new product launches.
Let’s take a look at what Apple may launch in 2026.
iPhone Fold: Apple’s First Foldable Phone
Apple is the only major smartphone brand that has not yet launched a foldable phone. That may change in 2026.
Reports suggest that Apple could launch its first foldable iPhone in spring 2026. The design may look like two iPhone Air models stacked together.
The foldable iPhone is expected to use the upcoming A20 Pro chipset, offering top-level performance.
It may also come with Apple’s largest-ever iPhone battery, possibly over 5,500mAh. The expected price in the US is around $2,400 (approximately ₹2,15,000).
OLED MacBook Pro and a New Affordable MacBook
OLED MacBook Pro
The MacBook Pro is one of Apple’s most powerful devices, but it still uses an IPS LCD display. Apple may finally upgrade this in 2026.
According to Bloomberg, the next MacBook Pro models could get OLED displays with touch support, similar to iPhones.
However, this upgrade may be limited to the M6 Pro and M6 Max models. The base M6 MacBook Pro is likely to continue with an IPS display. The OLED MacBook Pro models are expected to launch in late 2026.
Affordable MacBook for Students
Apple is also reportedly working on a budget-friendly MacBook for users with a lower budget, especially students. To reduce costs, this MacBook may use an iPhone chipset, possibly the A18 Pro from the iPhone 16 Pro.
It is expected to feature a 13-inch LCD display and could be priced at around $599 (approximately ₹54,000) in the US.
AI Glasses and Other New Technology
Apple AI Glasses
AI-powered glasses have become popular in recent years, and Apple is expected to enter this market soon. Apple’s AI glasses are likely to compete with Meta Ray-Ban glasses.
These glasses may include built-in cameras and speakers with AI features. Users may be able to make calls, take photos, and give voice commands.
However, the glasses are not expected to have a display. Apple could introduce them by the end of 2026, with a possible release in 2027.
New iPhones in 2026
iPhone 17e
The iPhone 17e may be the first Apple device to launch in 2026, possibly in February. It will be the second phone in Apple’s “e” series. Reports suggest it will feature the A19 chipset and thin display bezels.
It is not clear whether Apple will keep the notch design, but MagSafe support is expected, which was missing in the iPhone 16e. The price is likely to remain similar to the iPhone 16e, which launched in India at ₹59,900.
iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max
The iPhone 18 Pro models are expected to bring fewer design changes compared to the iPhone 17 Pro series, but several upgrades are still planned. Apple may introduce a single, unified design in new colors, replacing the dual-tone look.
Leaks suggest Apple could use under-display Face ID and remove the Dynamic Island. The main camera may feature a variable aperture, allowing users to manually control depth of field.
These models will run on the new A20 Pro chipset and are expected to launch alongside the iPhone Fold in September 2026.
OLED iPad Mini and More iPads
After the iPad Pro, the iPad Mini is expected to be the next iPad to receive an OLED display. The upcoming iPad Mini 8 may also feature a water-resistant design.
It is expected to use the A20 Pro chipset, similar to the iPhone 18 Pro, indicating a late-2026 launch. The price may increase by around $100 (approximately ₹9,000). The current iPad Mini was launched in India at ₹49,900.
