Thailand Offers Visa-Free Travel to Indian Tourists

Thailand’s tourism sector has been thriving, with 22 million visitors arriving between January and October, contributing a remarkable revenue of 927.5 billion baht (approximately $25.67 billion).

Prime Minister Shretha Thavisin, after a cabinet meeting, announced the visa-free entry for travelers from India and Taiwan from November 10 to May 10 this year, as part of an initiative to promote tourism in the country.

Sri Lanka Also Joins In

Sri Lanka, not wanting to miss out on this trend, approved free visas for tourists from India, China, Russia, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, and Thailand as a pilot project.

This offering allows tourists from these countries to obtain a visa for Sri Lanka without any charges.
