Tecno has introduced the most affordable foldable smartphones in India. These new foldable devices will succeed last year’s Phantom V Fold and Phantom V Flip.
Both phones from the Chinese company feature a new slim design. The company has also made significant hardware upgrades compared to last year’s foldable smartphones.
Both phones will offer users a large main screen and a large secondary screen.
Both of these affordable foldable phones are priced at half the cost of Samsung and Motorola’s foldable models.
The cheapest foldable smartphone
The Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 and Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 have been launched in the same storage variant.
The Phantom V Fold 2 is priced at Rs 79,999. The Phantom V Flip 2 is priced at Rs 34,999.
Bank offers are available on the purchase of both phones. The smartphones will be available for sale on Amazon on December 13.
The Phantom V Fold 2 can be purchased in two color options: Karst Green and Rippling Blue. The Phantom V Flip 2 is available in Moondust Gray and Travertine Green colors.
Tecno Phantom V Fold 2
This Tecno foldable smartphone features a 7.85-inch 2K+ AMOLED foldable display and a 6.42-inch FHD+ AMOLED cover display.
The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. The phone runs on HiOS 14, based on Android 14.
For cameras, the phone has a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP portrait camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
It also includes two 32MP cameras for selfies and video calls. The phone is equipped with a 5,750mAh battery, supporting 70W wired and 15W wireless charging.
This foldable smartphone comes with AI features, including Google’s Circle-to-Search and Photo Editor.

Tecno Phantom V Flip 2
The Tecno flip phone features a 6.9-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED foldable display and a 3.64-inch AMOLED cover display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 8.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The phone runs on HiOS 14 based on Android 14. It has a 50MP main OIS camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera on the back. For selfies and video calls, it includes a 32MP camera.
The phone is equipped with a 4,720mAh battery and supports 70W wired fast charging.
