Tata Motors has increased the price of its most affordable car, the Tata Tiago, by Rs 10,000. However, the price of the base model has remained unchanged.
The new prices for the various variants of the car range from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 8 lakh 75 thousand (ex-showroom).
The price hike affects all variants, except for the base petrol and CNG models, which have not seen any price increase.
The price of other variants has risen between Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000.
Powertrain and Specifications
The Tata Tiago is powered by a 1199 cc 1.2-liter Revotron petrol engine. This engine generates 86 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 3,300 rpm.
The car is also available in a CNG variant, where the engine produces 75.5 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 96.5 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm.
Tata Tiago also offers a boot space of 242 liters and has a ground clearance of 170 mm. For its braking system, it comes with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.
Mileage of Tata Tiago
When it comes to fuel efficiency, the Tata Tiago performs well across different variants.
The petrol manual version offers a mileage of 20.09 kmpl, while the automatic version gives 19 kmpl.
The Tiago also performs better in its CNG variant, providing a mileage of 26.49 km/kg with the manual transmission and 28.06 km/kg with the automatic transmission.
