This could boost sales volumes and bring higher revenue for companies. Following the GST cuts, carmakers have announced price reductions across their models.
Popular SUVs like Tata Punch and Maruti Fronx have received price cuts of up to ₹85,000 and ₹1,12,600 respectively.
Their rivals, Hyundai Exter and Maruti Ignis, have also become cheaper by up to ₹89,209 and ₹71,300 respectively.
