Tata Motors Offers Free Charging for Electric Car Buyers

Tata Motors has announced a special free charging offer for customers purchasing electric vehicles (EVs). This benefit is available only until December 31, 2024.

As per reports from Autocar, this offer can be availed at over 5,500 Tata Power Easy Charge stations across India.

After buying an EV, customers need to register their vehicle on the Tata Power Easy Charge app to activate the service within two days.

To qualify, the vehicle must be personally registered and purchased directly from a Tata dealership.

This free charging is limited to 1,000 units of electricity or 6 months from the date of purchase, whichever comes first.

After this limit, standard fees will apply. This initiative aims to boost sales of the Tata Nexon EV and Curve EV models.

Prices for the Nexon EV range between ₹12.49 lakh and ₹17.19 lakh, while the Curve EV Coupe-SUV is priced between ₹17.49 lakh and ₹21.99 lakh.

While no discounts are offered on the Curve EV, select dealers are offering a ₹2 lakh discount on remaining units of the 2023 Nexon EV.
