Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIPL) has opened bookings for its first electric scooter, the Suzuki e-ACCESS, marking the company’s global entry into the electric two-wheeler market, starting with India.
Along with the launch, Suzuki introduced a new dual-tone colour option – Metallic Mat Stellar Blue / Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray – taking the total colour choices for the scooter to four.
What Makes the Suzuki e-ACCESS Special?
Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India, said the e-ACCESS is Suzuki’s first strategic global battery electric vehicle.
The scooter is designed for long battery life, smooth handling, seamless acceleration, and high-quality fit and finish, aiming to give owners a worry-free experience.
The scooter runs on Suzuki e-Technology and a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, which lasts up to four times longer than conventional batteries.
Its 4.1 kW motor produces 15 Nm of torque, ensuring steady acceleration even when the battery is low.
The e-ACCESS also comes with three ride modes (Eco, Ride A, Ride B), reverse mode, and regenerative braking.
Built on a lightweight chassis with an aluminium battery case integrated into the frame, it promises stability and agile handling.
Other features include LED lighting, two-tone alloy wheels, and a maintenance-free drive belt designed to last seven years or 70,000 km.
