SpiceJet suspends Hyderabad-Ayodhya Direct Flights for THIS Reason

Before the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ramlala in Ayodhya, the city received a new airport and railway station as a gift.

Due to the large number of people coming to see Ramlala, almost all airlines began offering direct flights to Ayodhya from different cities across the country.

SpiceJet was also among these airlines.

However, SpiceJet had to discontinue its direct flight from Hyderabad to Ayodhya due to insufficient passengers.

Now there will be no direct flight from Hyderabad to Ayodhya 

Ajay Singh, the promoter of SpiceJet, mentioned on Wednesday that due to low demand,

they have ceased the direct flight from Hyderabad to Ayodhya (Hyderabad Ayodhya Route).

Insufficient passenger numbers led to this decision.

The Gurugram-based airline initiated non-stop flights thrice a week on the Hyderabad-Ayodhya route in early April this year.

A source from Hyderabad International Airport, operated by GMR Group, has also verified this information,

stating that SpiceJet discontinued its non-stop flight from Hyderabad to Ayodhya starting June 1.

Flight program is run on the basis of demand and business 

SpiceJet used to run direct flights from the Telangana capital to Ayodhya three times a week. A SpiceJet spokesperson stated that our flight schedule depends entirely on demand and business considerations.

The spokesperson mentioned that they are still operating services from Ayodhya to Chennai.

Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30.

SpiceJet organized a special flight from Delhi to Ayodhya on January 21 for attendees of the Prana Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Mandir.

Following this, on January 31, SpiceJet announced the commencement of its flights to Ayodhya from eight cities, including Delhi,
