Skoda launches New Kylaq SUV in India with Advanced Features (Check Price)

Skoda has launched the Skoda Kylaq, a new compact SUV in India, featuring many impressive and safety-focused attributes. It also comes with a powerful engine.

Features

The Skoda Kylaq comes with several features, including a shiny black front grille, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, LED DRLs, LED tail lights, 6-way electrically adjustable seats for both the driver and co-driver, and front ventilated seats.

It also features a single-pane electric sunroof, a 20.32 cm digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, a 25.6 cm infotainment system, and a 3 kg capacity hook in the trunk.

How safe is it?

The Skoda Kylaq SUV places a strong emphasis on safety, offering over 25 active and passive safety features as standard.

These include six airbags, brake disc wiping, ESC, traction control system, electronic differential lock, and multi-collision braking.

Engine

Skoda has equipped the Kylaq SUV with a 1.0-liter TSI engine, delivering 85 kW of power and 178 Nm of torque. It offers both 6-speed manual and DCT transmission options.

Price

Currently, the company has revealed the price of only the base variant of the Skoda Kylaq, which is priced at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The prices for the other variants will be announced in December.

When will the booking start and when will the delivery be available

Skoda has announced that bookings for the SUV will begin on December 2, 2024. Customers can book it both online and at offline showrooms.

Deliveries are set to start from January 27, 2025. Additionally, the SUV will be displayed at Bharat Mobility 2025 in January.

Who will compete with

Skoda Kylaq has been introduced in the Compact SUV segment, where it will compete with popular models like Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, and Tata Nexon.

Additionally, it will face direct competition from Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite in the same segment.
