They have launched the SBI Nifty200 Quality 30 Index Fund, which allows easy investment in India’s top-quality companies.
This New Fund Offer (NFO) started today, 16 May 2025, and will stay open until 29 May 2025. During this time, investors can buy units at the initial price (NAV ₹10).
What is SBI Nifty200 Quality 30 Index Fund?
It is an open-ended index fund that follows the Nifty200 Quality 30 Index.
This index includes the best 30 companies from the Nifty 200, chosen for their strong financial health, steady profits, and potential for long-term growth.

Key points about SBI Nifty 200 Quality 30 Index Fund
Type of Fund: This is a passive index fund, meaning the fund manager copies the index instead of choosing individual stocks.
Investment Strategy: The fund follows the Nifty200 Quality 30 Index, made up of India’s 30 best quality companies.
Objective: To create long-term wealth by growing your money steadily.
Risk Profile: Moderate risk, so it does not have large ups and downs.
Low Costs: Because it is passive, the management fees and expenses are low, which helps investors.
Government Securities: Around 0% to 5% of the fund may be invested in government securities like G-Secs, SDLs, Treasury Bills, tripartite repo, and liquid funds.
The fund manager is Viral Chhadwa. About 95% to 100% of your money will be invested in companies listed in the Nifty200 Quality 30 Index.
The rest, 0% to 5%, will be kept in government securities and other safe assets.
Minimum Investment
To invest in the SBI Nifty 200 Quality 30 Index Fund NFO, you must start with at least ₹5,000.
After that, you can add more in multiples of ₹1. For future investments, the minimum amount is ₹1,000.
You can also invest through SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) — daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, every six months, or yearly.
