If you have an account with the State Bank of India (SBI), here’s an important update.
On December 7th, several SBI digital services will be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled system maintenance.
The bank shared this information on social media and apologized for any inconvenience caused.
This maintenance is part of regular updates aimed at making SBI’s systems faster, more secure, and more reliable.
Customers are advised to complete any urgent transactions before or after this downtime.
Which Services Will Be Affected?
The maintenance will take place from 3:00 AM to 3:15 AM.
During this time, the following services will not be available:
UPI transactions
IMPS
NEFT and RTGS
SBI YONO app
Internet Banking
Customers may face difficulties with transactions during this short window.
The good news is that this maintenance is scheduled during off-peak hours, minimizing disruption for most users.
Services You Can Still Use
Even during this maintenance, some options remain available:
UPI Lite: Conduct small transactions without the internet.
Per-transaction limit: ₹1,000
Daily limit: ₹10,000
Total wallet balance: ₹5,000
ATMs: Cash withdrawals are fully operational.
SBI advises customers to plan ahead and use these alternatives in case of urgent needs.
