There’s good news for youth looking for government jobs. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2025 Exam.
This is a golden opportunity for 12th pass candidates to get a government job. Online applications have started, and eligible candidates can apply by July 18, 2025 by visiting the official website: ssc.gov.in.
Total Vacancies and Application Dates
A total of 3,131 posts will be filled under the SSC CHSL 2025 recruitment in various government departments.
The application process began on June 23 and will continue till July 18. The application fee can be paid online till July 19. All applications must be submitted online only through the new SSC website.
Exam Pattern and Dates
The CHSL 2025 exam will be conducted in two phases:
Tier 1: To be held between September 8 and 18, 2025
Tier 2: Expected to be held in February–March 2026
Posts Available
Selected candidates will be appointed to Group C posts in various Ministries, Departments, and Offices of the Government of India. These include:
Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)
Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
Data Entry Operator (DEO)
All appointments will be made based on exam results, and applications are accepted only via online mode on ssc.gov.in.
Eligibility and Age Limit
Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination.
The cut-off date for educational qualification and age is January 1, 2026.
Candidates appearing in the 12th exam are also eligible, provided they meet the qualification by this date.
One-Time Registration (OTR) is Mandatory
Candidates must create a One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website – ssc.gov.in.
OTR from the old website (ssc.nic.in) will not be valid for this recruitment.
Once created, the new OTR will be valid for all future exams applied through the new website.
Aadhaar-based authentication is recommended during the OTR process, as suggested by SSC.
