Samsung has launched the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G smartphones in India today.
These budget-friendly smartphones come at an affordable price, making them a strong choice in the budget segment.
Both models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and feature a 5,000mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy M06 and M16 5G Specifications
Samsung has committed to six years of Android updates and security patches for the Galaxy M16 5G, while the Galaxy M06 5G will receive OS and security updates for four years.
In terms of display, the Galaxy M16 5G features a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED screen, whereas the Galaxy M06 5G comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display.
Both smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and offer support for up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

Camera Setup
The Galaxy M16 5G features a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, it is equipped with a 13-megapixel front camera.
In comparison, the Galaxy M06 5G has a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It comes with an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.
For security, both smartphones come with side-mounted fingerprint sensors and Samsung’s Knox Vault for enhanced protection.
Additionally, they include the Quick Share feature for easy file and image sharing.
Notably, the Galaxy M16 5G also supports Tap and Pay along with Samsung Wallet.
Powerful Battery
Both smartphones are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging for reliable power backup.
In terms of design, the Galaxy M16 5G has a 7.9mm thickness, while the Galaxy M06 5G is slightly thicker at 8mm.
Price and Availability
Samsung has set the price of the Galaxy M16 5G at Rs 11,499 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.
The 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs 12,999, while the 8GB + 128GB version is priced at Rs 14,499. These prices include bank offers with discounts of up to Rs 1,000.
The smartphone is available in three colors: Blush Pink, Mint Green, and Thunder Black. Sales will begin on March 5.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy M06 5G is priced at Rs 9,499 for the 4GB + 128GB variant and Rs 10,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model.
With bank discounts, customers can get up to Rs 500 off. This phone comes in two color options: Blazing Black and Sage Green.
Sales for the Galaxy M06 5G will start on March 7. Both smartphones will be available for purchase on Amazon.
Motorola G45 5G will get competition
Samsung’s two new smartphones are set to compete with the Motorola G45 5G.
This Motorola device is known for being a budget-friendly option, offering both 4GB and 8GB RAM variants along with 128GB of internal storage.
It features a 50MP primary camera paired with a 2MP macro sensor.
For power, the phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. Currently, the Motorola G45 5G is priced at approximately Rs 10,999 on Flipkart.
