The list features the Galaxy A32, A52 5G, A72, and all models from the Galaxy S20 lineup. Let’s understand what this means for users.

Phones That Will No Longer Receive Software Updates

The Galaxy A52 5G and A72 were among the first mid-range phones by Samsung that offered premium features at a budget-friendly price.

These phones came with 5G support, fast charging, stereo speakers, and smooth high refresh rate displays.

However, Samsung had already stopped Android updates for the regular versions of Galaxy A52 and A52s earlier.

Only the Enterprise Editions of these phones will continue to receive updates for now.

Now, the Galaxy A32 has also been added to the list of devices no longer getting software updates. Alongside it, the Galaxy S20 series — including the S20, S20+,

and S20 Ultra — will also stop receiving updates. These models had already received five years of software support.

What Should Samsung Users Do Next?

Even though Samsung might still release critical security patches if a serious issue is found, regular updates and new features will no longer be available for these devices.

If you own one of these phones and want the latest security protection and new features, it might be a good time to consider upgrading to a newer model.
