The Madhya Pradesh government has deposited ₹1500 into the bank accounts of women under the Ladli Behna Yojana
This includes the regular ₹1250 monthly installment plus an additional ₹250 as a Rakshabandhan gift. Both the installment and the festival bonus have been transferred together.
This is the 27th installment of the scheme. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav transferred the money on 7th August from Narsinghgarh, Rajgarh district.
On this occasion, more than ₹1,859 crore was sent to the bank accounts of 1 crore 26 lakh 89 thousand 823 women beneficiaries.
Rakshabandhan Made Special for Women in Madhya Pradesh
This year’s Rakshabandhan became extra special for the women of Madhya Pradesh. The additional ₹250 “Shagun” gift raised the total payment for August to ₹1500 per woman.
Women can confirm the deposit by checking the SMS alert from their bank.
About the Ladli Behna Yojana
Launched in 2023, the Ladli Behna Yojana aims to strengthen women financially so they can better take care of their health and family.
Every eligible woman receives ₹1250 per month under this scheme. In the financial year 2025–26, the Madhya Pradesh government has already spent ₹6,198.88 crore on this program.

Visit the official website of Ladli Behna Yojana.
Click on “Application and Payment Status.”
Enter your registration number or ID.
Fill in the captcha and enter the OTP sent to your mobile.
After entering the OTP, your details will appear on the screen.
Women will also receive an SMS alert once the money is credited to their account.
