Rail traffic on the Ahmedabad–Palanpur section of Western Railway will be affected due to technical work.
The railway is carrying out automatic signaling upgrades, which are important for safer and smoother train operations.
Because of this, some trains are being diverted from their usual routes.
On March 29, a total of four trains, including the Jodhpur–Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express, will run on alternate routes.
Passengers are advised to check their train status before leaving for the station.
Why Are These Changes Happening?
According to railway officials, this work is part of a major upgrade to improve safety and efficiency.
To complete the work, a temporary block has been taken on the route.
This means trains cannot run on their normal tracks for some time, so they are being diverted instead.
