Renault India has announced that it will pass on the full benefits of GST 2.0 to customers.
This move will lead to price cuts of up to ₹96,395 across its entire range of vehicles. The revised prices will apply to all deliveries starting September 22, 2025.
Updated Prices for KWID, Triber, and Kiger
The price cuts cover Renault’s three main models in India:
KWID: Now starts at ₹4.29 lakh, with price reductions ranging between ₹40,095 and ₹55,095.
Triber: Now starts at ₹5.76 lakh, with reductions between ₹53,695 and ₹80,195.
Kiger: Also starts at ₹5.76 lakh, with the biggest savings of up to ₹96,395 on select variants.
Customers can book vehicles at the new prices immediately through authorized Renault dealerships. However, deliveries with the revised rates will begin on September 22.
Customer-Focused Decision for Festive Season
Venkatram Mamillapalle, Managing Director of Renault India, said the decision highlights the company’s customer-first approach.
The timing is aligned with the Navratri festival season, a period seen as auspicious for big purchases in India.
Renault’s Chennai plant has a yearly production capacity of 480,000 units.
The company also runs over 430 sales outlets and 490 service centers, including 250 mobile ‘Workshop on Wheels’ facilities across India.
This price cut is expected to strengthen Renault’s competitive edge and boost sales during the festive season, when demand for automobiles usually rises.
