Renault Launches New 7-Seater Triber at an Affordable Price (See Features)

French carmaker Renault has launched its updated 7-seater family car, the 2025 Renault Triber, in the Indian market.

The new model comes with a fresh design, upgraded smart features, and better safety and comfort.

It is also the first car to be launched under Renault’s new brand strategy called ‘Renault. Rethink.’, and features the company’s latest logo.

Updated and Stylish Design

The new Renault Triber has been completely redesigned, both inside and out. On the exterior, it now features a new front grille, redesigned bonnet, stylish bumpers, and LED projector headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs) and fog lamps.

At the rear, changes include a new skid plate, a connecting strip between the taillights, and sleek LED tail lamps, giving the car a more appealing and modern look.

Premium Interior and Tech Features

Inside the cabin, the Triber now feels more modern and premium. It includes a new dashboard design, dual-tone seat upholstery, an 8-inch floating touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital LED instrument cluster, LED cabin lights, and black-out door handles for a more stylish finish.

Advanced Safety Features

Renault has added 21 safety features as standard in the new Triber. These include 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), brake assist, and ISOFIX child seat mounts. Notably, the car now also comes with front parking sensors, a first in its segment.

Engine and Performance

The new Triber is powered by a 1.0-liter petrol engine that delivers 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque.

It is offered with both a 5-speed manual gearbox and an Easy-R AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) in the top variant. Designed for Indian conditions, it has a ground clearance of 182 mm and strong roof rails for added utility.

Flexible Seating and Storage

One of the biggest highlights of the Renault Triber is its modular seating layout. It can be configured as a 5, 6, or 7-seater.

The second and third rows can be folded or removed to create more space. In the 5-seater setup, the boot space expands to 625 liters.

The new Triber is available in four variants – Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. Prices start at ₹6.29 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to ₹9.16 lakh.
