Called the AI Ready School Campaign, this initiative is designed to help both students and teachers develop practical AI skills that can be used in everyday learning and future careers.
What Is Jio’s AI Ready School Campaign?
Reliance Jio has launched the AI Ready School Campaign in Kerala as a large-scale digital education programme.
The goal is to make AI learning simple, practical, and accessible inside classrooms.
Under this initiative, Jio is introducing an AI Foundation Course in schools and colleges.
Instead of focusing on heavy theory, the course emphasizes real-world use of AI to support academic tasks and improve learning outcomes.
Strong Participation from Schools and Colleges
The campaign has already seen wide adoption across Kerala.
More than 755 schools and 104 colleges have joined the programme so far.
Jio is also training 2,350 teachers to help them understand and use AI tools effectively in teaching.
Along with this, over 6,000 students have already taken part in the AI learning sessions, showing strong interest in the programme.
Free 4-Week Jio AI Classroom for Students
A major highlight of the campaign is the 4-week free online Jio AI Classroom for students.
The course is available through Jio’s official AI Classroom portal and is accessible on laptops and desktop computers. Smartphone access is currently not supported.
The programme offers hands-on experience with AI tools, helping students build skills that can support their studies and open up future career opportunities, especially in technology-driven fields.
How AI Is Being Used in Daily Learning
The learning sessions are designed for both teachers and students to use AI in meaningful ways.
Participants learn how to apply AI tools for tasks such as note-making, assignment writing, and project planning.
AI is also used to support creative work, structured thinking, and interview preparation.
Jio has introduced multiple AI platforms during these sessions, including tools like Notebook LM, to improve productivity and problem-solving abilities.
Free Google Gemini Pro Plan for Jio 5G Users
To further encourage AI adoption, Reliance Jio is offering a free 18-month Google Gemini Pro plan to Jio 5G users.
The plan, which normally costs ₹35,100, can be activated through the MyJio app.
It gives students and teachers access to advanced AI features, helping them explore and use powerful AI tools for learning and professional growth.
With this initiative, Reliance Jio is taking a strong step toward preparing students and educators for an AI-driven future, making advanced technology a practical part of everyday education.
