Redmi has introduced its latest budget-friendly phone, the Redmi 14R 5G, starting at a price of around Rs 13,000.
Despite its affordable cost, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. The device is available in four different configurations, offering up to 8GB of RAM
and 256GB of storage. It operates on Android 14 and is equipped with a 5160mAh battery that supports 18W charging.
Given its budget price, the Redmi 14R features a basic camera setup. Below are the details about its pricing and features.
Pricing of Different Variants
Currently, the Redmi 14R is available only in China, with three different variants based on RAM and storage:
4GB RAM + 128GB storage: CNY 1,099 (approximately Rs 13,000)
6GB RAM + 128GB storage: CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs 17,700)
8GB RAM + 128GB storage: CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs 20,100)
8GB RAM + 256GB storage (top-end variant): CNY 1,899 (approximately Rs 22,500)
The phone comes in four color options: Deep Ocean Blue, Lavender, Olive Green, and Shadow Black, available on the company’s website in China.
There is no information yet on whether it will be launched in other countries, including India.

The Redmi 14R supports dual SIM (Nano) and runs on HyperOS based on Android 14.
It features a 6.68-inch HD Plus LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 600 nits of peak brightness.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and offers up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Camera, Battery, and Connectivity
For photography, the phone comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a secondary sensor.
For selfies and video calls, there is a 5-megapixel front camera housed in a waterdrop-style notch. The 5160mAh battery provides ample power, supported by 18W charging.
In terms of connectivity, the Redmi 14R includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a USB Type-C port,
and a 3.5mm audio jack. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
