On Tuesday, Realme officially launched its new premium smartphone lineup, the Realme 16 Pro series, in the Indian market.
The series includes two models — Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G. Both smartphones are aimed at the upper mid-range segment and come with premium features.
Design and Colour Options
The Realme 16 Pro series features the company’s Urban Wild design, which has been developed in collaboration with well-known Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa.
Both smartphones are available in Master Gold and Master Grey colour options. In addition, there are India-exclusive colours as well.
The Realme 16 Pro 5G is also offered in Orchid Purple, while the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G comes in Camellia Pink.
Realme 16 Pro Series Price in India and Availability
The Realme 16 Pro 5G is priced at ₹31,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 256GB version costs ₹33,999, while the top-end 12GB + 256GB model is priced at ₹36,999.
The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G starts at ₹39,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at ₹41,999, and the premium 12GB + 256GB model costs ₹44,999.
Both smartphones will go on sale in India from January 9 through Flipkart and Realme’s official online store.
Specifications of Realme 16 Pro+ 5G
The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate and offers a peak brightness of 6,500 nits.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
For photography, the smartphone features a 200MP primary rear camera, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom,
and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, it has a 50MP selfie camera for high-quality selfies and video calls.
