Realme has launched its new smartphone, the Realme 16 5G, in India. One of the biggest highlights of this phone is its rear camera module with a selfie mirror, which helps users take selfies using the main rear camera. The design of the rear camera module is said to be quite similar to the iPhone Air.
The smartphone comes in two color options and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset. It features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of up to 4200 nits.
The phone is backed by a 7,000mAh battery with 60W wired fast charging support.

Realme 16 5G Price and Availability
The base variant of the Realme 16 5G with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at ₹31,999.
The 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at ₹33,999, while the top-end 12GB + 256GB model costs ₹36,999.
The phone is available in Air Black and Air White color options.
Customers can pre-order the device now through Flipkart and Realme’s online store. The official sale in India will begin from April 5.
As part of the launch offers, the company is providing no-cost EMI for up to 12 months. Buyers can also get a bank discount of ₹2,000 or an exchange bonus of ₹6,000.
Display, Performance and Software
The Realme 16 5G supports dual SIM and runs on Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0.
The company says the phone will receive four years of security updates and three Android OS upgrades.
It features a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2372 pixels, a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The display also offers an instant touch sampling rate of 3,000Hz and a peak brightness of 4200 nits.
For performance, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage.
For better thermal performance, it includes a vapor chamber cooling system with a 6,050 sq mm heat dissipation area.
The device also comes with an IP69 rating, offering protection against dust and water.

For photography, the Realme 16 5G comes with a dual rear camera setup.
This includes a 50-megapixel wide-angle primary sensor with autofocus and f/1.8 aperture, along with a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor.
A special feature of the rear camera unit is the selfie mirror, placed right next to the main camera. This mirror allows users to preview themselves and click selfies using the rear camera, which can help deliver better quality selfies.
On the front, the phone features a 50-megapixel selfie camera.

The smartphone packs a 7,000mAh battery with support for 60W wired fast charging and reverse charging.
According to the company, the battery is designed to last up to 1,600 charging cycles.
It is also claimed to provide up to 142 hours of music playback time on a single charge.
The phone weighs around 183 grams and measures 158.30 x 75.13 x 8.10mm.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, 5G, 4G LTE, BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, USB Type-C port, and Wi-Fi 6.
