Rakshabandhan Bonus: ₹250 Gift for Sisters Under Ladli Behna Yojana

Ladli Behna Yojana: Women in Madhya Pradesh have received some good news. On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, the state government will give them a special gift of ₹250.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced that all beneficiary women under the Ladli Behna Yojana will get ₹250 as a Rakhi gift.

This amount will be in addition to the regular monthly installment of ₹1,250 given under the scheme.

The Chief Minister made this announcement during a program in Belkheda village, about 40 km from Jabalpur district headquarters.

Extra ₹250 as Rakhi Shagun

CM Mohan Yadav said that women are given ₹1,250 every month under the Ladli Behna Yojana. Now, on Rakshabandhan, they will receive an extra ₹250 as shagun (gift) in August.

During the event, he also transferred ₹1,551.44 crore to the bank accounts of 1.27 crore beneficiary women as the June installment. Officials said this was the 25th installment since the scheme started.

More Announcements by the Chief Minister

Along with the Rakshabandhan gift, the Chief Minister made several more announcements.

He said a government college will be opened in Belkheda and new buildings will be constructed for the Revenue Department staff, including offices and residences.

He also launched and laid the foundation for multiple development projects in the district.

CM Yadav added that the state government is fully committed to women empowerment and rural development.
