To make travel easier after Diwali and Chhath Puja, Indian Railways has rolled out special trains to handle the passenger rush.
Every year, during this festive season, thousands of travelers head home, and stations get overcrowded.
To prevent inconvenience, the railway administration has announced special trains starting from Ajmer.
Divisional Railway Manager Raju Bhutada confirmed that passenger convenience has been given top priority.
He explained that during major festivals like Diwali and Chhath, the number of passengers multiplies, creating a huge demand for trains.
To meet this, 14 festival special trains will run from Ajmer beginning today.

Valsad–Khatipura Special (4:25 am)
Khatipura–Valsad Special (10:05 pm)

Haridwar–Sabarmati Special (1:15 pm)
Sabarmati–Gorakhpur Special (4:00 pm)
Daurai–Samastipur Special (9:20 pm)
Ajmer–Ranchi Special (11:05 pm)
Bandra Terminus–Jaipur Special (7:15 am)
Jaipur–Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Special (from Madar Junction, 3:05 pm)
Sabarmati–Begusarai Special (9:05 pm)
Begusarai–Sabarmati Special (7:05 pm)
Madar Junction–Rohtak Special (4:30 am)
Extra Security and Passenger Facilities
To ensure smooth travel during the festival rush, additional staff have been deployed at Ajmer station.
The administration has also enhanced security, lighting, and cleanliness across platforms and waiting areas.
A help desk has been set up to guide passengers with train schedules, platform details, and other travel-related information.
The railway has also requested travelers to book tickets in advance, arrive early, and take care of their luggage to avoid last-minute rush.
