This information comes from a statement by Primebook CEO Chitranshu Mahant to The Hindu, where he mentioned that the laptop will feature a cloud-as-a-service model.

According to 91Mobiles, the Primebook Gen 2 series will launch in India in January 2025, with a price tag below Rs 20,000, which is slightly higher than the current Primebook lineup.
Specifications of Primebook Gen 2
The Primebook Gen 2 will be available in two sizes: 11.6 inches and 14 inches. Both models will come in yoga and clamshell designs.
The new model is expected to have thinner bezels than its predecessor and a metallic chassis for a more premium look.
It will run on PrimeOS, with its version of Android 14, and support 4G SIM and LTE connectivity.
Prime Cloud Computing Service
Additionally, Primebook is planning to launch a cloud computing solution in India. This will allow users to store files on the cloud instead of local storage.
It is said that the service will require an internet speed of at least 15 Mbps, while gaming might need speeds over 100 Mbps.
The cloud service is expected to launch in November 2024 and may be available as an app. However, it will not be free; there might be a 15-day free trial, after which charges could apply.
