The Mahindra XUV700, one of the most popular mid-size SUVs in India, has seen an increase in its prices by up to Rs 50,000 after the festive season.
This price hike applies to selected variants. In addition, the company has introduced two new diesel variants under the AX3 trim level

Petrol Variant Prices
MX MT5S: Rs 14.49 lakh (previously Rs 13.99 lakh, increased by Rs 50,000)
AX3 MT5S: Rs 16.89 lakh (previously Rs 16.39 lakh, increased by Rs 50,000)
AX7 MT 7S: Rs 19.64 lakh (previously Rs 19.49 lakh, increased by Rs 15,000)

Diesel Variant Prices
MX MT5S: Rs 14.59 lakh (no price change)
AX3 MT5S: Rs 16.99 lakh (no price change)
AX7 AT AWD 7S: Rs 23.09 lakh (no price change)
Similar to the petrol variants, the diesel variants have also seen price adjustments in select models.
Discontinuation of 6-Seater Variants
Mahindra had introduced a 6-seater version of the XUV700 earlier this year, responding to customer demand.
However, after a few months, the company has decided to discontinue all 6-seater variants.
The decision likely comes as a result of customer preference for the 7-seater versions, with competitors like Tata and MG offering similar 6-seater models.

The Mahindra XUV700 is powered by two engine options: a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 200hp and 380Nm of torque,
and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine generating 155hp and 360Nm of torque.
