Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), the largest car-selling company in India, has officially announced the start of bookings for the highly anticipated updated Dzire sedan.
Over the past few months, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been the best-selling sedan in the country.
Customers can pre-book the updated Dzire with a token amount of ₹11,000.
Reports indicate that the new Dzire will feature changes to both its exterior and interior.
Bookings can be made online through the company’s official website or at the nearest Arena dealership.
Design Changes in the Updated Dzire
The updated Dzire will have a fresh design. It features a split grille at the front with Suzuki’s logo in the center.
The headlamps will resemble those of the new Swift model.
Additionally, the 5-seater car will come with new dual-spoke alloy wheels that have a black finish.
At the rear, the Dzire will be updated with newly designed LED taillamps and redesigned bumpers.
Interior Features and Safety
Inside the cabin, customers can expect a variety of modern features.
This includes a floating touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
There will also be a wireless smartphone charger and an upgraded semi-digital instrument console.
For safety, the updated Dzire will come equipped with multiple airbags and a 360-degree camera.
Powertrain Options
Under the hood, the new Dzire will be powered by a Z-series 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine.
This engine will produce a maximum power of 80 bhp and peak torque of 112 Nm.
Customers will have the choice between a 5-speed manual transmission and an automatic transmission.
