The 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Yojana is expected to be released soon.
The government has advised farmers to check their status and complete e-KYC to ensure the installment is credited to their bank accounts on time.
What is PM Kisan Yojana?
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a central government scheme that provides ₹6,000 annually to eligible farmers.
This amount is paid directly into their bank accounts in three equal installments.
Who is Eligible?
The scheme covers all landholding farmer families with cultivable land registered in their name.
Land size does not matter—both small and large landholders are eligible. Even families with more than two hectares of land can receive benefits.
When Will the 21st Installment Be Released?
Reports suggest the 21st installment may be released in the first half of November, though no official date has been announced yet.
On October 7, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan transferred ₹171 crore via video conferencing to 8.55 lakh farmers, including over 85,000 women farmers.
So far, farmers in Jammu and Kashmir have received a total of ₹4,052 crore.
Can Installments Be Released During Code of Conduct?
Yes. Even though the code of conduct is in effect in Bihar, PM Kisan installments can still be released.
Once technical formalities between the state and central government are completed, the funds will be credited to farmers’ accounts.

Complete the mandatory e-KYC process, or your installment may be delayed.
