Patanjali Slashes Prices Ahead of GST Reform: New Prices

Ahead of the next-generation GST reforms coming into effect on September 22, Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Foods Ltd. has announced a cut in the maximum retail price (MRP) of its entire product range.

The company said the decision is aimed at passing on the benefits of the simplified GST structure directly to consumers.

The GST Council recently approved replacing the old four-slab tax system with just two slabs—5% and 18%.

However, the 40% rate on luxury and sin goods remains unchanged. Following this change, several FMCG companies, including Patanjali, have reduced product prices.
