Lahore: Pakistan has extended its ban on Indian aircraft using its airspace until September 23.

The Pakistan Airports Authority issued a new NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) confirming the one-month extension of the restriction.

This ban applies to all aircraft operated by Indian airlines, including both military and civilian planes owned or leased by India.

The ban was first imposed on April 23 for one month, following heightened tensions after the Pahalgam terrorist attack. This prevented Indian airlines from flying over Pakistan.

In response, India imposed a similar ban on Pakistani aircraft and airlines on April 30. Both countries extended these airspace restrictions once before on May 23.
