Over 160 Lost Items Recovered on Namo Bharat — Know the Process

Namo Bharat Train: If you forget something while travelling on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Rapid Rail (Namo Bharat Train), there’s no need to panic.

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has set up a Lost and Found Center at Ghaziabad station, where all found items from trains and stations are collected and returned to their rightful owners.

More than 160 items returned so far

Thanks to this Lost and Found system, over 160 valuable items have already been returned to passengers.

These include laptops, mobile phones, watches, important documents, wallets, bags, earbuds, iPads, vehicle keys, books, and clothes.

Train attendants play a key role

Each Namo Bharat train has a train attendant who regularly walks through the train to monitor everything.

If any unclaimed luggage is found, it is quickly reported and sent to the Lost and Found Center. This process ensures that passengers get their items back safely and quickly.

How to check and claim your lost item

Passengers can go to the Lost and Found section in the Namo Bharat Connect mobile app to see the list of items found on trains.

If you find your item in the list, you can claim it by submitting the required documents. Once verified, the item will be returned to you.

If you face any issues using the app, you can contact the station control room directly.

When and where can you collect your item?

If the item was left at the station: It will be returned within 24 hours from the same station, after identity verification.

If the item was left on the train: It will be available at the Lost and Found Center at Ghaziabad station for collection.
