If you own an Oppo smartphone, there’s good news! Oppo is rolling out the ColorOS 15 update for select devices.
According to MySmartPrice, the company has announced the update schedule for April 2025.
This will be the final batch of Oppo phones upgrading to Android 15. Four Oppo smartphones will receive the update by the end of the month.
ColorOS 15 Update Rollout Schedule
The ColorOS 15 update will be released for the following Oppo smartphones:
April 10 – OPPO Reno 8T 5G
April 14 – OPPO Reno 8T 4G, OPPO F23 5G
April 21 – OPPO F23 4G
The update will roll out globally, including in India. However, Oppo has stated that it will be released in batches, so not all users will receive it at the same time. It may take a while for the update to reach all devices.
New Features in ColorOS 15
ColorOS 15 comes with several exciting features to enhance performance, gaming, and security:
Trinity Engine – Optimizes CPU and system performance, improving efficiency by up to 3 times.
HyperBoost Technology – Enhances gaming performance with AI-based improvements.
Luminous Motion Effects – Brings smoother animations to the interface.
Smart AI Features – Includes AI Notes, AI Recording Summary, AI Reply, AI Writer, and more (availability depends on the device).
O+ Connect – Enables wireless file sharing between OPPO and iOS devices.
Flux Themes – Allows flexible layout customization, including menu and icon styles.
Enhanced Security – Features like theft protection, auto pixelation of sensitive info in screenshots, and improved call sound quality.
Final Update Before ColorOS 16
Oppo has already rolled out the ColorOS 15 update to over 30 smartphones. The April 2025 update is the last batch of devices to receive it.
After this, Oppo will continue providing monthly security patches until the release of ColorOS 16, which will be based on Android 16.
