Along with the Reno 15 5G series, OPPO has launched the OPPO Pad 5 tablet in the Indian market. The tablet is available in Wi-Fi and 5G variants. Pre-orders are already live, and the first open sale will start on January 13, 2026.

Big Display With Eye Comfort Features
The OPPO Pad 5 features a 12.1-inch 2.8K LCD eye-comfort display with a resolution of 2800 × 1980 pixels. It has a 7:5 aspect ratio, 284 PPI, and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals.
The display supports Dolby Vision and offers up to 900 nits peak brightness.
It is also easy on the eyes, thanks to TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 4.0 certification and low blue light support, making it suitable for long work or entertainment sessions.
Powerful Processor, RAM, and Cameras
The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The 5G variant comes with a dedicated single SIM tray.
For photography and video calls, the OPPO Pad 5 has an 8MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera. It also supports USB OTG, allowing users to connect USB drives and accessories via the USB Type-C port.
OPPO Pencil 2 Support for Work and Creativity
For productivity and creativity, the tablet supports the OPPO Pencil 2, which offers low latency for accurate writing, sketching, and note-taking.
Features like real-time handwriting polish make notes neat and readable, while AI-powered note-taking tools help with better organization. The pencil provides up to 20 hours of continuous use and can deliver 12 hours of usage with just 10 minutes of charging.

The tablet runs on ColorOS 16 for Pad, which is optimized for large screens and smooth performance. OPPO also promises long-term stability with a 48-month fluency protection certification from TÜV SÜD.
It supports Quick App Launch and Switch, allowing users to switch between up to 12 apps at the same time. The Flux home screen offers a flexible dock that can hold 15 apps, while the home screen grid can store up to 60 apps.
Connectivity and Sensors
Both Wi-Fi and 5G variants support Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 5, and 802.11 a/b/g/n, along with WLAN tethering. The 5G variant supports cellular connectivity, while the Wi-Fi model does not.
The tablet features Bluetooth 5.4 with Low Energy and BLE audio, supporting codecs like SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, and LDAC.
Both variants include a USB Type-C port and support Type-C digital earphones (analog Type-C headphones are not supported).
GNSS location and Cell Broadcast Service are available only in the 5G variant.
