OPPO has confirmed that its upcoming flagship Find X9 and Find X9 Pro smartphones will be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor.
The announcement was made on the same day that MediaTek launched its chip.
The Find X9 series will also be the first OPPO devices to run Android 16-based ColorOS 16.
OPPO revealed on Weibo that the series will launch in China on October 16, with pre-orders already open.
The global launch date is yet to be announced.
Key Features and Performance
The Find X9 series will feature OPPO’s Trinity Engine, described as “Android’s first unified computing power model”, which improves efficiency while maintaining high performance.
According to MediaTek, the Dimensity 9500 offers 32% better single-core performance and 55% more power efficiency than its predecessor.
Camera and Photography
The series will come with a Hasselblad-branded camera system.
The Find X9 Pro is expected to include a 200MP periscope telephoto camera.
OPPO will also provide a Hasselblad professional photography kit for advanced photography enthusiasts.
Battery and Software
Find X9: 7,000mAh battery
Find X9 Pro: 7,500mAh battery
Both models will support fast charging.
These will be OPPO’s first smartphones to run Android 16-based ColorOS 16 out of the box.
Pricing and Availability
OPPO has not yet announced the India launch date.

Find X8: ₹69,999
Find X8 Pro: ₹99,999
The Find X9 series is expected to be priced within this range.
OPPO’s Chief Product Officer, Pete Lau, confirmed that the series will also have a global launch.
