Choose how much money you want to deposit.

After a second fingerprint scan, your account will be opened.

Special Feature: No forms or slips need to be filled out. The information you provide will be final.

Traditional Method Still Available

If you prefer, you can still open an account using the traditional paper method by filling out forms. The new digital process is optional, not mandatory.

Security of Your Aadhaar Number

Your Aadhaar number will be kept confidential. If it appears in any document, the post office will automatically black out the first 8 digits to ensure your information remains secure.

Future Digital Features

Currently, the new facility allows you to open an account digitally. In the future, you will also be able to close accounts, transfer them, or change nominees using your Aadhaar biometric.

Benefits for Customers and Post Office

This digital process will save time for customers and reduce the need for filling out forms and waiting in line. It will also simplify tasks for post office employees.

So, for hassle-free investment in Post Office schemes, just take your Aadhaar card to the post office, and everything will be done quickly.
