Big news has come for OnePlus users. The company has increased the price of its popular smartphone, the OnePlus 15R.
The new prices have come into effect from April 1, 2026, which may be disappointing for people planning to buy the phone.
The OnePlus 15R was launched in India in December 2025. It is the company’s latest performance-focused flagship smartphone, specially designed for gaming and power users.
At the time of launch, the starting price of the phone was ₹47,999, but now the price on OnePlus’s official website, OnePlus.in, has been increased by ₹2,500.
New Price of OnePlus 15R
The OnePlus 15R is available in two variants in India.
The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant was earlier priced at ₹47,999, but now its price has been increased to ₹50,499.
The 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant was previously priced at ₹52,999, and now it costs ₹55,499.
This means that both variants have received a direct price hike of ₹2,500.
Key Features of OnePlus 15R
The OnePlus 15R is specially built for high performance. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor.
To control heating during heavy usage and gaming, the phone comes with a Cryo-Velocity Cooling System with a large vapor chamber.
The smartphone features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with support for an adaptive refresh rate of up to 165Hz. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, offering an enhanced video viewing experience.
In terms of design, the phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front, along with a metal frame and glass back. It also offers strong protection against dust and water with IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings.
Battery, Camera and Software
The OnePlus 15R packs a massive 7400mAh battery, which is said to be the largest battery in any OnePlus phone so far. For charging, it supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, which can fully charge the phone in about 53 minutes.
Talking about the camera setup, the phone features a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor. It is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera that offers a 112-degree field of view.
For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 32MP front camera with autofocus support and 4K video recording.
The OnePlus 15R runs on OxygenOS 16.0, based on Android 16. The company has promised four years of Android updates and six years of security updates.
It also includes smart AI features such as AI Perfect Shot, AI Scan, and AI VoiceScribe.
