OnePlus is all set to launch its compact flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13s, in India on June 5.
This phone will be a part of the company’s flagship 13 series and is specially designed for the Indian market.
According to OnePlus, the 13s will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
The launch event will begin at 12 noon tomorrow and can be watched live on OnePlus’ official YouTube channel.
High-End Camera and Powerful Performance Expected
Display:
The OnePlus 13s will feature a 6.32-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1600 nits peak brightness, offering a smooth and bright viewing experience.
Processor:
The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, promising top-level performance, enhanced AI features, and a seamless user experience.
RAM and Storage:
It is expected to come with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, making it a powerful multitasking device.
Camera:
The phone may feature a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor (OIS) and a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom. The front camera is expected to be either 16MP or 32MP, based on different reports.
Battery:
The OnePlus 13s will likely have a large 6,260mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, promising long battery life and quick charging speeds.
Operating System:
The phone is expected to run ColorOS 15 based on the latest Android 15.
Design and Colors:
The device will be available in multiple color options, including Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and a Green Silk edition designed specifically for Indian users.
Build and Other Features:
It may feature dual stereo speakers, a metal frame, IP65 water and dust resistance, and a new physical button called the ‘Plus Key’.
What Is the ‘Plus Key’?
The OnePlus 13s introduces the ‘Plus Key’, a new hardware button replacing the traditional Alert Slider.
Users can use it to switch sound modes, launch apps, and more. It’s also linked to AI Plus Mind, a tool that helps users quickly capture and process information on the screen using AI.
Expected Price of OnePlus 13s
In India, the OnePlus 13s is expected to be priced at around ₹55,000. Globally, it might be priced near £800.
In China, the 12GB + 256GB version could cost 3,399 yuan, roughly ₹40,000.
This pricing places the OnePlus 13s in the premium flagship segment, where it will compete with top models from Samsung, Xiaomi, and other brands.
