One Month of Flights for Only Rs 999

Before Diwali, the people of Madhya Pradesh received exciting news.

State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that flight tickets from Rewa to Bhopal will be available for just 999 rupees for a month.

This announcement came after Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Rewa Airport just a day earlier.

CM Yadav called the new terminal building at Rewa Airport a Diwali gift from PM Modi, stating that it would help promote the development of the Vindhya region.

Major Inauguration by PM Modi

During an event in his Lok Sabha constituency in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for projects worth over Rs 6,000 crore.

He digitally opened the terminal buildings of Maa Mahamaya Airport in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, along with airports in Chhattisgarh and Sarsawa, Uttar Pradesh.

The total cost for these projects is over Rs 220 crore.

A Step Towards Development in Vindhya

While addressing a gathering in Rewa, CM Yadav highlighted that PM Modi has provided a significant Diwali gift to the people of the Vindhya region.

He emphasized that residents will now have air travel options from this new airport to Bhopal for Rs 999 for one month.

He also announced the launch of the Rewa-Bhopal flight, stating that the airport’s inauguration would open new doors for development and positively impact the Vindhya region, which includes seven districts.

Growth in the Aviation Sector

The Chief Minister mentioned that the Vindhya region is rich in natural resources and has everything necessary for its development.

He credited PM Modi and the UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik) scheme for making air travel accessible to even the poorer sections of society.

Yadav pointed out that the region had lagged in development due to previous governments’ lack of attention.

He recalled that in 1993, there was no railway facility in Rewa, and now it has its own airport. He also announced plans for an expressway connecting Rewa to Bhopal.
