Ola Electric announced a special “Holi Mahotsav” on Tuesday, signaling what it calls a new phase for electric motorcycles in India.
On the occasion of Holika Dahan, the company has reduced the starting price of its Roadster motorcycle range to ₹79,999.
According to the company, this price brings electric motorcycles closer to the cost of entry-level petrol (ICE) bikes.
A company spokesperson said that with the Roadster starting at ₹79,999, electric motorcycles are no longer a premium option but a smart default choice for buyers.
The company believes that price parity with petrol bikes will help speed up the shift toward electric mobility.
